Annual Survey 2010 PDF Print E-mail

It’s time to recognize our Clean Fuel Leaders!  The Clean Fuel Partnership wants to recognize your efforts to lead the transition to cleaner transportation in southeast Louisiana as we collect responses from this year’s Annual Survey.

As the local Clean Cities Coalition, one responsibility of the Southeast Louisiana Clean Fuel Partnership is to track the number of fleets using alternative fuel vehicles.  All Clean Cities Coalitions perform this task so we can annually report the millions of gallons of gasoline that are displaced nationwide.  To do this, however, we need your help identifying the alternative fuels and vehicles used in our region.  If your fleet includes alternative fuels and/or vehicles, please complete the Annual Survey.  All submissions will be entered into a special prize drawing and will be recognized at the Regional Planning Commission meeting on May 10, 2011 at the Regional Transportation Management Center.

Annual Survey FAQs:

Who should complete the survey?

We are collecting data on fleet operations that included any of the following during the past year (January to December 2010):
·         Biodiesel·         Hydrogen
·         Ethanol·         Electric Vehicles
·         Natural Gas·         Hybrid Vehicles
·         Propane

I reduced my energy and fuel use in other ways, should I complete a survey?

Yes!  Fuel and energy savings comes in many forms, and we are equally interested in recognizing you for other methods you have used to save fuel in your transportation fleet.  Please contact us directly if you have implemented other energy saving technologies, such as:

·         Idle reduction policies
·         Fuel savings policies
·         Alternative power units (APUs)
·         Emission control devices

Why should I complete the survey?

All survey respondents will be entered into a special prize drawing and will be recognized as Clean Fuel Leaders at the Regional Planning Commission meeting on May 10, 2011.  In addition, the data helps to garner support for the work of Clean Cities Coalitions, which may result in increased funding for local clean transportation projects.

What do you do with the data?

All 87 Clean Cities Coalitions collect the same data so we can annually report the total gasoline gallons equivalent that are displaced throughout the nation in a given year.  The National Renewable Energy Laboratory compiles this data in an annual report—the Clean Cities Annual Metrics Report—which is available on the Clean Cities website: http://www1.eere.energy.gov/cleancities/accomplishments.html.  As with all data we collect, your contact information will not be shared for any other purpose.
